Three buckets, ordered by how likely the work is to happen. Building now means someone has started. Next means it is queued and untouched. Considering means we might never build it.

Each entry says what Polylane does today as well as what is planned, so you can tell the two apart. If a feature below decides whether Polylane works for you, treat it as absent and buy on what is on the features page instead.

Work has started on these. They are the three gaps people run into first, and none of them is finished or available.

• Two-way Google Calendar sync

  “Do my edits in Google come back into Polylane?”

  Move a block in either calendar and it moves in both.

  Today: Google Calendar sync runs one way. Polylane pushes scheduled work into Google, and changes you make in Google do not come back, so Polylane has to stay the source of truth.

• Import from other tools

  “Do I have to retype a year of projects?”

  Bring existing projects and tasks across from the tool you are leaving, so your first week is planning rather than data entry.

  Today: You create projects, channels, and tasks in Polylane by hand. There is no importer, and no integrations beyond the Google Calendar push.

• Mobile, starting with an installable web app

  “Can I use this on my phone?”

  An installable web app first — Polylane on your home screen, laid out for a small screen. Native apps are a separate decision we have not made.

  Today: Polylane runs in a browser. There is no mobile app, so a phone is somewhere to read the day, not to plan it.

• Studio shared workspaces and seats

  “Can my team plan in here together?”

  One set of projects and one shared calendar across up to 5 seats.

  Today: No. Studio is a founding waitlist at $39/mo, not a plan you can buy and use. Shared workspaces are not shippable yet, so plan around Solo if you need something this month.

• A weekly review ritual

  “How do I keep the plan honest week to week?”

  A guided pass over what you shipped, what slipped, and what is scheduled next, so the matrix matches the week you actually had.

  Today: You re-plan in the Overview yourself. Nothing prompts you, and nothing sums up the week you finished.

• Full data export

  “Can I get everything out if I leave?”

  One archive holding every project, channel, task, link, and scheduled slot, in a format you can read without Polylane.

  Today: The .ics export covers your scheduled tasks and is part of Solo. There is no single file that carries the rest.

Ideas we are weighing, with no commitment attached. Plenty of what lands in this bucket never gets built, which is what the bucket is for.

• AI assist that turns a pasted week into a matrix

  “Can it plan the week for me?”

  Paste a rough week as plain text and get a first-draft matrix you then edit. It stays in Considering until we are convinced it beats filling the grid yourself.

  Today: Polylane has no AI features. Nothing writes, sorts, or schedules your work for you.

We do not publish ship dates. A date we miss costs you more than an order we keep, and the order changes when enough of you tell us it should. Items move between buckets, and items leave this page without shipping.
