Building now is the current focus. Next names the next customer problems to validate. Exploring is further out, with no release commitment.

Each entry says what Polylane does today as well as what is planned, so you can tell the two apart. If a feature below decides whether Polylane works for you, treat it as absent and buy on what is on the features page instead.

The current focus. Improvements reach the product after they are tested; these are not dated release promises.

• A clearer, more dependable daily planner

  “Can I trust the plan and get to my work faster?”

  Know where your latest work is saved, recover from failed writes, and plan across projects with fewer decisions on screen.

  Today: The board, linked batches, day and week calendar, and daily and weekly reviews are available. We are improving save feedback, accessibility, mobile navigation and the clarity of the daily workflow.

The next problems to validate with solo operators and small teams. Their scope can change after feedback.

• Clearer team responsibility

  “Who is responsible for each piece of work?”

  Make responsibility clear in the board and calendar, with task assignment designed around how small teams actually work.

  Today: Studio has a shared workspace, owner/admin/member roles and read-only project links. A task does not yet have a separate assignee or approval workflow.

• An easier project review handoff

  “How do I share the right project work without extra setup?”

  Validate what a recipient needs to understand in a shared plan before adding comments or approvals.

  Today: Studio can create a revocable read-only link for one project. Recipients do not need an account to view it. A new Share entry is being verified before release.

Longer-term possibilities. Early implementation exists for some, but their release scope and timing are undecided.

• Two-way Google Calendar sync

  “Do my edits in Google come back into Polylane?”

  Move a block in either calendar and it moves in both.

  Today: Google Calendar and Outlook connect: your meetings show as busy time behind the plan, and on a paid plan the blocks you schedule can be sent to your calendar. Changes made to those blocks in the calendar do not come back, so Polylane has to stay the source of truth.

• Native iOS and Android apps

  “Can I use this on my phone?”

  The same board and calendar in an app from the App Store and Google Play.

  Today: Polylane runs in the browser and installs to your home screen, laid out for a small screen. The native apps are started — sign-in is built — but the planner is not in them yet.

We do not publish ship dates. A date we miss costs you more than an order we keep, and the order changes when enough of you tell us it should. Items move between buckets, and items leave this page without shipping.

Weekly review is available now: review completed work, what slipped and what was never scheduled. Move unfinished work to Someday or bring it back, then open this week's calendar to plan ahead. Open the planner's account menu and choose Review last week.
