What shipped, and when

Polylane is new and built by one person. There is no customer count to quote and no wall of logos, so here is the alternative: a dated record of what changed, written the day it changed.

Everything below is live for customers now. Nothing here is a plan or a promise, and work in progress stays out of the list until it ships.

• Annual and founding prices you can actually buy. Every price the pricing page shows now resolves to a real plan at checkout. Solo bills annually at $180/yr alongside $19/mo monthly, and the founding rate of $12/mo is granted on the server against a live count of paid subscribers, so the seat count is a real cap rather than decoration. Rupee prices are quoted inclusive of GST, and the currency you choose decides which provider charges you.
• Cancel a Razorpay subscription yourself. Rupee subscribers can cancel from the account page instead of emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the cycle you paid for, so you keep the time you bought, and nothing is deleted: projects beyond the Free limit go read-only and unlock again if you resubscribe.
• A receipt for every payment. Each successful payment now sends a receipt carrying the amount, plan, billing interval, payment date, your GSTIN when you supply one, and a link to the provider's tax invoice.
• A trial that helps instead of nagging. The 14-day trial sent one email, on day 12. It now runs a proper sequence: setup help in the first week with no price and no upgrade button, reminders before the trial ends, and a note when it does.
• Recover planner changes a failed save would have lost. A failed cloud save used to leave your only copy in the browser tab, where a refresh destroyed it without warning. Edits now go to a backup bound to your account, the save retries on a backoff, and if it still cannot get through you are asked to restore or discard the next time you open the planner.
• Two devices no longer overwrite each other. A save may only delete rows it knew about when it loaded. Anything a second tab or another device created since then survives instead of being wiped by whichever session saved first.
• The graph view works from the keyboard. Enter opened a node's editor and closed it in the same keystroke, which left task and project nodes unusable without a mouse. Enter now opens the editor and keeps it open. Hovering also pins the node under your pointer, so a node drifting in the simulation cannot dodge your click.
• Legal and company pages. About, security, contact, refund policy, cancellation policy, DPA, and subprocessors are published, with the company details on the terms and privacy pages. The security page states what is true today and includes what we do not claim: no SOC 2, no ISO 27001, and no third-party penetration test.
• Unsubscribe links stopped firing on their own. Corporate mail scanners prefetch links inside email, which was unsubscribing people who never clicked. Unsubscribing now takes a confirmation on the page.

• Graph view. A third way to read your plan, next to Overview and Flow. Projects, channels, and tasks render as a force-directed graph you can zoom and pan, with a search box for finding a node and a toggle for whether scheduled tasks appear.
• Notes on tasks. Tasks carry notes. Write them when you open a task, and the chip in the matrix shows an indicator with the text in a tooltip.
• Project colours. Projects take a colour the way channels already did, with a picker in the edit dialog and the colour on the project header in both the matrix and Flow.
• Flow shows one project at a time. Flow was described as a per-project view but rendered every project side by side behind a horizontal scroll, which defeated the point. It now shows one project at full width, with a colour-coded switcher when you have more than one.
• Dark mode contrast. Graph nodes, link edges, channel labels, and task chips were hard to read on a dark background. All four were lifted to readable contrast.
• The demo seed stops flashing over your data. Signing in briefly showed the sample plan while your own state loaded. The planner now waits for your data instead of rendering someone else's.
• End-to-end tests for the core loop. Matrix, link, and calendar are covered by browser tests, along with the graph view. Several of the fixes on this page came out of writing them.

The record starts on 27 July 2026, the day we started keeping it. Earlier work is not backfilled. Writing entries from memory is how a changelog turns into marketing, and this page is worth more to you as a record than as a pitch.

The useful half of a changelog is the part that names what is missing. As of today:

• There is no mobile app. Polylane runs in the browser.
• There is no import from other planning tools, and no integrations beyond Google Calendar.
• Google Calendar sync pushes from Polylane to Google. Nothing is written back the other way. Two-way sync is not built, and the day it is, it goes on this page.
• Studio, the shared workspace for up to five people, is a founding waitlist rather than a plan you can buy. It is not ready to ship.
• There are no AI features.
