Why Polylane exists

A planner for people running several things at once — because the tools assume you only run one.

Last updated: 28 July 2026

The problem

Most planning tools assume a single stream of work. If you are shipping a YouTube channel, a course, and client work at the same time, you end up with three tools, three calendars, and a weekly ritual of copying dates between them. Things slip in the gaps.

Polylane puts every pursuit in one grid — projects down one axis, channels across the other — links the work that moves together, and drops it onto a real calendar. Matrix, link, calendar.

Who builds it

Polylane is built by Priya, who writes about building things at Polymath Diaries. It started as the system she wanted for her own work and became a product because other people running several things at once wanted the same thing.

It is a small operation on purpose. You email support, a person who works on the product answers.

How we make money

Subscriptions, and nothing else. We do not sell data, run ads, or take affiliate money for recommending tools. If Polylane is useful enough to pay for, it stays alive; if it is not, that is the signal.

Pricing is on the pricing page with no hidden tiers, and there is a 14-day money-back guarantee.

What we will not do

We will not lock your data in. Export works on every plan, including Free, and cancelling makes extra projects read-only rather than deleting them.

We will not use dark patterns to keep you. Cancelling is two clicks in your account, with no retention flow.
