Help
The things people get stuck on, and what to do about each one. If the answer is not here, email us — the reply comes from the person who wrote the code.

Getting started
- What are the rows and columns?
- Projects run across the top, channels down the side. A task lives in the cell where a project meets a channel — so "the newsletter for my course" has one obvious home.
- What does linking do?
- It marks tasks as one piece of work. Schedule any one of them and the rest follow into the same day, which is the point of the whole product.
- Nothing happens when I drag a task
- Drop it onto an hour slot in the calendar on the right, not onto the day header. If you would rather not drag at all, focus the task's handle and press Space, then use the arrow keys and Space again.
- Where did my task go after I scheduled it?
- One-off tasks hide from the matrix while they sit on a day's calendar, so the grid shows what is still unplanned. Recurring tasks stay put. The weekly review lists anything that was scheduled and never finished.
Bringing work in and taking it out
- How do I import from Notion or Todoist?
- Export a CSV from either, then use Import in the planner header. You see exactly what will be created before anything is written. Running the same file twice is safe — nothing is duplicated.
- My import created a project called "Imported"
- That is the fallback for rows with no project column. Todoist exports one file per project with the name only in the filename, so set the project name in the import dialog before confirming.
- How do I get my data out?
- Account → Export, any time, without asking. JSON for everything, or a CSV of tasks with their project, channel and schedule.
Billing
- How do I cancel?
- Account → Cancel subscription, two clicks. You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, then move to Free. Nothing is deleted — see the cancellation policy.
- Can I get a refund?
- Within 14 days of paying, yes — no form and no questions. Email us and it is done. Details on the refund policy.
- Where are my invoices?
- Account → Billing history. Each charge links to the tax invoice from Stripe or Razorpay, which is the document your accountant wants.
- I upgraded mid-trial — did I lose my free days?
- No. The days left on your trial carry onto the subscription, so you are not charged until the original trial end date.
- I need to change the card on a Razorpay subscription
- Razorpay does not expose a self-serve card update, so email support@smatsols.com and we will send a fresh authorisation link. Stripe customers can do it themselves under Manage billing.
Account and teams
- How do I change my password or email?
- Account → Sign-in settings. Changing your email sends a confirmation to the new address; the old one keeps working until you click it.
- What happens if I disconnect Google?
- You stop signing in with Google, and your Google Calendar events stop appearing in the day view — the two are the same connection. If it is your only sign-in method, set a password first.
- Can I be in two teams?
- No. An account belongs to one Studio team at a time, because a shared workspace means everyone in it can see everyone else's planning — being in two would join those teams together.
- How do I delete my account?
- Account → Danger zone. It is immediate and permanent, so export first if you want a copy.
Still stuck
Email support@smatsols.com. One person reads it, usually within a working day. Saying what you were doing and roughly when saves a round trip.
