Polylane brand and press kit

Everything you need to write about us accurately: approved copy, the correct spelling, colours, and logo rules. Take any of it as written.

The name

Polylane. One word, capital P, everything else lowercase. It stays that way at the start of a sentence, in a headline, and in a URL.

  • Write: Polylane, Polylane's
  • Do not write: PolyLane, Poly Lane, polylane, POLYLANE, Polylane App
  • The name never takes an article. It is "Polylaneputs every pursuit in one grid", not "the Polylane".
  • All caps is fine only where the surrounding type is already all caps, such as a nav label.

The tagline is The polymath calendar. Sentence case, no full stop, used as written.

One-line description

One calendar for everything you build — solo or with a small team.

The "small team" half of that line refers to Studio, which is on a founding waitlist and not available to buy. If your piece is about what ships today, use this instead: Polylane is a planner for people running several pursuits at once.

Boilerplate — short

Polylane is a planner for people running several pursuits at once. Projects sit on one axis and channels on the other, linked work moves together, and every batch drops onto a real day calendar. Polylane is operated by SMAT Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Boilerplate — long

Polylane is a planner for people who run several pursuits at once, such as a channel, a course, and client work in the same week. Most planning tools assume a single stream of work, so parallel builders end up copying dates between three calendars. Polylane puts every pursuit in one grid: projects down one axis, channels across the other. Link the tasks that move together, then drag the batch onto a day calendar and the whole batch moves as one. Overview, Flow, and Graph views read the same plan three ways. Polylane is operated by SMAT Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Legal entity

Polylane is operated by SMAT Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Use that line wherever a piece needs to name the seller. Supporting detail, if you need it: GSTIN 36ABOCS7049B1Z4, registered in Telangana, India. Full company details are on the about page.

What the product does

The loop is matrix, link, calendar. Projects run down one axis and channels across the other. Select the tasks that belong to the same push, link them into a batch, and drag the batch onto a day calendar. Move one linked task and the rest follow.

There are three ways to read the same plan: Overview, Flow, and a Graph view.

  • Free: 2 projects, the default channels plus 2 custom ones, calendar scheduling, and task linking. No cloud sync and no calendar export.
  • Solo: unlimited projects and channels, cloud sync across devices, .ics export, and a 14-day trial.
  • Studio: a shared workspace for up to 5 seats. Founding waitlist only, not available to buy.

Prices

Solo is $19/mo or $180/yr. In India it is ₹499/mo incl. GST. Studio is listed at $39/mo, but it is a founding waitlist and nothing is charged for it today.

A founding rate with a real seat cap may be running when you publish, so quote the pricing page rather than a number you copied earlier. Paid plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee, and you can cancel any time.

Please do not claim these

This is the part reviews get wrong most often. Every line below is something Polylane does not do yet.

  • Google Calendar sync pushes one way, from Polylane to Google. Two-way sync has not shipped.
  • Studio is not available. It has a founding waitlist and we have not announced a ship date.
  • There is no mobile app.
  • There are no integrations and no importers.
  • There are no AI features.
  • We have no customer counts, ratings, reviews, or awards to share. Polylane is new. Please do not attribute a figure to us that we have not published.

If a sentence in your draft depends on one of these, send it to us before you run it and we will confirm or correct it.

Colours

Read from the live theme, so these are the values the product actually renders. Every colour has a light and a dark counterpart.

ColourLightDarkWhere it is used
Accent#5B4E9E#9B8FD4Links, buttons, and the eyebrow above a page title
Text#1A1A2E#F5F0EBHeadings and body copy
Background#F7F4EF#12141CPage background
Surface#FFFCF8#1A1D28Cards and panels that sit on the background
Warm accent#C17F59#E8A87CSecondary highlights
Gold accent#A68B4B#D4B86ASparing emphasis, founding-rate details

If you can print only one brand colour, use the light accent, #5B4E9E. On a dark layout, use #9B8FD4 instead so the colour keeps its contrast.

Type

Headings are set in Fraunces, body copy in DM Sans, and labels in IBM Plex Mono. All three are on Google Fonts. You do not need to match our type to write about us. Match it only when you are reproducing the wordmark.

Logo

The mark is a 512×512 PNG at polylane.app/brand/polylane-mark.png. One file covers both light and dark layouts. We use the same file in both on our own site.

Do

  • Use the file as supplied, at its own proportions.
  • Keep clear space around the mark equal to half its height, and never render it smaller than 24px.
  • Pair the mark with the word Polylane when the name is not already in the surrounding text. The wordmark on its own is fine.

Do not

  • Recolour, rotate, stretch, crop, outline, or add shadows, gradients, or effects.
  • Redraw the mark or rebuild it in another typeface.
  • Place it inside another shape, badge, or lockup, or set it on a busy photograph.
  • Use it as your own app icon, favicon, or avatar, or in a way that suggests a partnership, endorsement, or sponsorship we have not agreed to.

We do not host a screenshot pack yet. Take your own from the live product rather than compositing a screen that does not exist, or ask us and we will send what you need.

Writing about us as a partner or affiliate

For a launch post or a review, the short boilerplate plus the one-liner usually covers it. The claims list above is the part worth checking twice.

If you plan to publish as a partner or an affiliate, email us first with what you intend to run. We will confirm what is accurate and tell you plainly where it is not.

Press contact

Email support@smatsols.com with "press" in the subject. Tell us your outlet and your deadline. A person who works on the product answers.

For a fact check, paste the sentence you plan to run. We would rather correct a line before it publishes than after. Security reports go to our security page instead.
